Mount Saint Mary’s University has been educating and preparing physical therapists for more than 35 years. Instruction takes place in small collegial cohorts where close, collaborative relationships between students and highly-trained faculty develop. The Mount’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program provides students the foundations in basic and clinical science required to pursue successful careers in this fast-growing field.

Our DPT cohorts are small and intimate, allowing for close, collaborative relationships between faculty and students, often leading to joint publications and professional advancement.

Hands-on experience

As integral members of the health care team, graduates impart their knowledge and skills through competent and compassionate patient care. The program includes a total of 36 weeks of clinical experiences, culminating with two 12-week clinical internships.
