HOW TO TRANSFER CREDITS TO MSMU
At MSMU, we offer a comprehensive transfer credit evaluation process. Using Transferology or Assist - and our in-house counselors, we work with each student individually to determine how many of their credits might transfer and determine how long it may take them to finish their degree.
Each student is different, and everyone’s journey to graduation is unique. Knowing how long you will take to finish your degree depends on how many credits you bring to the Mount. Let’s look at a few examples of what your credit transfer process could look like:

- Has some general education courses from a community college
- Has a qualifying AP test score from high school
Up to 70 lower division transferable credits can be awarded towards bachelor’s degrees at the Mount. Qualifying test scores may be applied to course credit as well. Given this information, Student A will input her current credits into Transferology and submit her transcripts during the application process to MSMU.

- Has an Associate's Degree for Transfer (ADT) from a California community college.
MSMU accepts associate’s degrees in selected majors from community colleges in California. For the full list of accepted majors, read our policy. MSMU will help you know how to transfer from a community college to a university, one step at a time!
